  1. Guidance for course candidates and their employer

It is the responsibility of your employer to ensure that you are a suitable candidate for the course on which you are booking. Please ensure that if undertaking a course where physical assessment is necessary that all candidates are free from any condition which may affect their capability to do so. It is the responsibility of the employer to also ensure all candidate have the aptitude to cope with the necessary study programme. All students are welcome on our courses regardless of any external factors such as disability however it remains the responsibility of the employer to ensure they are fully supported in the workplace. If any candidate should require extra assistance during the course for any reason prior notification should be given to Skyline Training. If during the course, it is felt that any student does not meet any of the learning outcomes or practical assessments and is referred then a second reassessment will be given free of charge however if any further training is needed this may be chargeable.

      2.Course bookings 

Bookings made by phone have to also be confirmed via email within 48 hours of booking. Bookings can be made via our website booking form a link will be sent via email to get to this. If a purchase order number is needed for the booking, please ensure this is quoted when booking. All bookings will receive an immediate confirmation email and a further email containing joining instructions will be sent approx. 2 weeks prior to your course. All bookings are provisional until full payment has been made unless prior arrangements have been made with skyline training.            3.Cancellations

It is the responsibility of your employer to ensure that Skyline Training are informed of any cancellations in writing by the below deadlines and the following charges will apply:

  • More than three weeks prior to the course date- no charge

  • Two to three weeks prior to the course start date – 50 % of the course fee

  • Less than two weeks – full fee applied

    4.Unforeseen circumstances 

If due to any unforeseen circumstances, you are unable to attend your course please contact us. We can offer you a full refund in some cases or a free of charge transfer which has to be within six months of your initial booking.

     5.Transfers 

Skyline Training offer a full transfer option for all candidates on all courses to transfer to another course, paying only the difference in course cost if the new course is a higher fee than the original booking, or a refund of the difference if the new course fee is less than the original booking. This option is available with notice of up to 48 hours of the course date and subject to a £5 admin fee per candidate.

     6. Non-attendance to pre-booked course

It is the responsibility of your employer to ensure that all pre-booked candidates attend training courses. Failure to attend a pre-booked course with no prior written notice or transfer request following the above terms will result in the full course fee being payable.

     7.Late arrivals/ missed modules  

If a candidate arrives to a session late or completely misses a module of learning, Skyline Training reserves the right to refuse to accept candidates on their course if we feel that the knowledge that they have missed will have a detrimental impact on their learning or that candidates will be unable to gain sufficient knowledge to successfully pass the course. In all such cases the full course fee remains payable. As our courses are regulated attendance to all modules is mandatory to conform with courses requirements.

       8.Requalification's 

Skyline Training insist that to attend one of their requalification courses a full valid appropriate certificate has to be in date and presentable upon request of the trainer. For your certificate to be classed as in date your certificate has to be no longer than three months prior to the original certification expiry date. A maximum of 28 days is allowed from the expiration date of the certificate for you to be eligible to attend a requalification course.

       9.Payment Standard payment terms are that payment is to be made immediately upon booking via our website unless via prior arrangement. If an invoice has been provided then and different terms have been agreed, the invoice needs to be paid in full to secure the boking no later than 14 days from the invoice or prior to the course start date whichever is soonest.

        10.Advertising and mailing

In accordance with new GDPR regulations by accepting our booking T&C’s you are also agreeing to your contact details being added to our mailing list. Your information will not be shared with anyone outside of Skyline Training and will not be used for any purposes other than internal marketing and course contact where required.

        11.When using Skyline Training's Mental Health Solution, Skyline Training is solely responsible for the administration of training which is fully regulated and offered via Nuco Training. All clinical services including but not limited to advice and reporting  wellness and wellbeing mindfulness  and therapy sessions are provided by Change Your Future Therapy and as a result of this any questions, complaints or information for any clinical service via CYF Therapy, booked through Skyline Training must be sent to cyftherapy@gmail.com as Skyline training is purely a booking agent for their services.
